We have talked about "shyness" in class and although some of you might not consider yourself shy - I would like you to watch this video and post your feedback about the video below. Please also read Jeremiah's work as he has written in a profound and personal way about this issue. 

We have discussed this in the context of "starting again anew" next year as you move forward into your next steps in life. 

In the first section of the reading, Sophia discusses the definitions of being an "introvert" and an "extrovert." She then gives her own definitions of what she thinks being an introvert or extrovert mean 

1. How are her definitions of the words different than what we normally understand? Explain.

2. How does she illustrate one these characteristics?

3. What does she consider herself? 

4. How would you describe yourself? [Introvert or Extrovert] Give a justification and examples in the same way that Sophia does.

Sophia talks about her "radical lifestyle" [p.77-93] and pursuing a life she was not always proud of.
1. How do Sophia's past experiences shape her?  Be specific and give examples from the text.
2. How do past experiences shape who we are?
3. If you could ask Sophia one question what would it be?

Read the section carefully - What are Amoruso's feelings about feminism and how does she describe herself? Include a quote in your detailed and thorough response. One-two sentences will not do. Write a paragraph at the minimum.  

How did Sophia use "social media" to build her business? Give specific examples and analyze them.

How did her love of "vintage" lead to building a business? 

      This is the video we watched in class. For this final part please comment on this video. What stands out to you, what is significant?  How can you connect what he says to what Catherine Ponder teaches us about persistence? Please be thoughtful and insightful in your responses - go the extra mile. You can re-watch the video here and you have the reading on "The Prosperity Law of Persistence."  

Look at the picture and read the quote. What does it mean and how does it relate to the themes we are reading about in: "The Power of Persistence?"

Connect what we read by Steven Hawkings and quantum physics to Ponder's quote, "The inner realm of thought controls all outer action and manifestations"
