  1. 1)Calixta has the affair Alce because she and him are infatuated with each other, as well as the fact that she was worried about her husband.
2)Calixta does love Bobinot, but not as much as Alce... Though she is still committed to her marriage.
3)Bobinot and Calixta's marriage is like a companionate love.
4)No, she does not have consumnate love with her husband because if she did she wouldn't have felt the need to "do it" with Alce.
5)Yes, they do have a intimate relationship. When Bobinot and Bibi are gone during the storm, Calixta becomes extremely worried.

  2. The reason why Calixta had the affair was because she was extremely worried about her husband thinking he was upset with her and needed a break. Calixta loves Bobinot more than anything including Alce who will never be the love of her life forever. Bobinot and Calixta's marriage is like a very passionate one for each other. Calixta never has a consumnate love with her husband whatsoever because she will not feel the need to try to have a love relationship with Alce. Calixta definitely has a intimate relationship with her husband because as Bobinot and Bibi are battling through the terrifying storm, Calixta feels anxious to the point she starts praying for the storm to be over so herself, family, including husband can live a safe and happy life like one big family.
